The Kraków Airport Design competition finished for creating a design of the leading graphic motive which will be used in the interior design of the newly-created terminal.

The competition was held under honorary patronage of Professor Stanisław Tabisz, President of the Jan Matejko Academy of the Fine Arts in Kraków.

“Anna Borkowska’s design undertakes the subject of the competition in a systemic way by attempting to diversify the motive for a multi-purpose space, offering interactive solutions and pointing to different paths along which the project may develop. This project fits the raw nature of the terminal’s design better, at the same time alluding to a CI port and motives related to Kraków and Małopolska. The design reveals signs of professionalism regarding spatial identification, taking into account elements which assume different meaning, depending on the configuration.”
